Best known today as a nonsense poet and humourist, Lear was also a talented celebrated topographical landscape painter.On the 150th anniversary of Lears appointment as Queen Victorias drawing master (in 1866), the author and his wife set sail in their yacht Gang Warily, from near Osborne house, Queen Victorias home in the Isle of Wight.
