Hat Sizing: The Tilley Hat fits more comfortably than other hats. To find your size, simply measure around your head, just above your eyebrows, and refer to the sizing chart on the Tilley Hat page of this website. If you already know your regular hat size, please ask for one size larger when you order your Tilley. Fabric Story: Constructed of strong, soft, 10-ounce cotton duck which is specially treated to make it water repellent and mildew proof. The cotton is mercilessly pre-shrunk before it is cut and sewn. A cloth pocket in the crown holds a closed-cell, non-absorbent, 1/8" thick foam pad to help float the Hat and cushion a knock on the noggin. Washing Instructions: Machine wash in warm or cool water. Do not use bleach. Smooth and reshape the Hat by hand and set it out to air dry.
