Den Haan Rotterdam, founded in 1922 started out producing navigation and interior lights for shipping. However, increase in demand for more decorative lamps led the company to produce a range of nautical brass and copper lamps. The lamps are finished with a transparent lacquer to reduce the need to clean them. All lamps are fitted with superior quality burners and should be filled with best quality parafin or lamp oil. Spare wicks, globes and chimneys are available. The Trawler lamp is designed to hang and incorporates a smoke shade. The underside of the hood is white enamel to produce maximum reflective light.
