Den Haan Rotterdam, founded in 1922 started out producing navigation and interior lights for shipping. However, increase in demand for more decorative lamps led the company to produce a range of nautical brass and copper lamps. The lamps are finished with a transparent lacquer to reduce the need to clean them. All lamps are fitted with superior quality burners and should be filled with best quality parafin or lamp oil. Spare wicks, globes and chimneys are available. The Berth lamp is designed for free standing, or maybe wall mounted with the bracket provided, the base may be removed and the lamp bolted directly through a bulkhead. The lamp unit is fully gimballed.
