'MOORING SHOCKER' made from tough tubular webbing with a loop stitched in either end, these shock absorbers are ideal for mooring lines, anchor lines, tie-down straps and pretty much anything else requiring extremely strong elasticity. they can be fitted to mooring chains using shackles and tied in to mooring ropes.
56cm unstretched, stretching to over 90cm before the webbing becomes taught. Colour: Royal Blue.
Please note Mooring Shockers are designed to remove the shock from mooring and anchor lines but should not be used in a situation where if they were to break they may leave the craft vulnerable. It is recommended that they create a bit of 'slack' in your existing mooring line or anchor chain and should reach their maximum length at around the same time as the rope/chain becomes taught (see photograph for example using rope)
