The Quick Genius is our best selling windlass. It fits on-deck with only cabling and a small solenoid box below deck so is much easier to fit than some other, particularly vertical, windlasses. The 600 (500w) is suitable for boats from 6-9m. The 1000 (800w) is suitable for boats from 8-12m. Available as either just a chain/rope gypsy, or with an extra drum to enable a wider variety of ropes to be handled. The inovative 'free fall' version does not have to be 'driven' down. When the down arrow is pressed the windlass simply releases its clutch allowing a faster and more power efficent anchor set. A brief press of the 'up' control stops the windlass, holding the 'up' button then draws in the rope and chain.

Comes complete with Mounting washer, Fixing studs, Relay and Either a Toggle switch panel OR a Pair of Foot switches (please state which you prefer in the order comments box. In theory you can add as many switches to the circuit as you like so adding either foot switches or a helm mounted toggle switch at a later date simply involves fitting the switch and running a cable to the solenoid box.
