The series consists of 8 atlases which are up-dated and corrected annually. The last weekly edition of the Netherlands NtMs (BaZ) incorporated in the new edition is displayed on the inside cover.
The user is responsible for updating the charts using subsequent weekly issues of NtMs (BaZ).
Every atlas contains a legend showing all symbols and abbreviations used on the charts. Whilst Hydrographic charts fundamentally follow the international standard they may use different colour settings and symbols for lights, light sectors, buoyage, beacons etc. Additionally specific information of use to the recreational user is included.
