APPLICATION AND USE
Preparation PREVIOUSLY ANTIFOULED SURFACE:
In Good Condition: Rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Wet sand with 120-220 grade paper. If old antifouling is incompatible or unknown, seal with Primocon.
In Poor Condition: Remove with Interstrip.
PRIMING: All preparation for bare substrates is covered on the appropriate primer labels.
BARE GRP: Gelshield 200 for osmosis protection, or Primocon.
STEEL/IRON: Interprotect or Primocon.
LEAD: Etch Primer followed by Interprotect or Primocon.
BARE WOOD: Preserve, if required, with Intertox. Prime with Interprotect or Primocon.
Method Apply 2 coats per season on the hull. 3 coats are required on the leading and trailing edges, waterline, rudder and keel. This is important for best performance. Ideally, leave a small amount of paint unmixed if needed for pad areas. Alternatively, if a small amount of paint is left in the can, it is possible to use this up to 2 weeks after mixing by adding enough water and vigorously stirring to make it suitable for brush application.
