Baltic horseshoe buoys are manufactured with a firm core covered with a durable coated nylon. A grab line is fitted around the outside. Aluminium rail mounting bracket clamps to 1" horizontal or vertical rail. The SOLAS Light version activates on righting in water and uses 4 D Cells. KTR LED Light version uses a much smaller LED light (pictured above) that also contains a gravity switch meaning that the light starts when it hits the water. The LED bulb is more efficient, has a moch loner operating life, is much less prone to damage from being dropped and uses only 2 AA batteries.
