In addition to the durable finish, another feature that makes the Endurance Collection the best choice for use in the marine environment is the fact that it is weatherproof. The beveled glass crystal creates an elegant look of quality and style, while a silicone o-ring seated behind the crystal protects the front of the instrument from water and contaminants.
The next exciting feature that is also offered for the first time is a unique mounting system developed by Weems & Plath called the Weems Slide ‘n Lock Mounting System. This simple to use system locks instruments in place, yet allows easy removal for adjustments, battery changes, storage or security. The instrument can be lifted off its mounting plate without having to remove the screws that secure it to the wall or bulkhead of the boat. A unique dovetail design on the backside of the instrument slides over the mounting plate and locks into place so that no mounting screws are in view.
